Through our webshop, privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed. JK Beautyshop considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:

When you use our webshop, we obtain certain data from you. This may include personal data. We only store and use the personal data that you directly provide, in the context of the service you have requested, or for which it is clear when provided that it is given to us for processing.

Order processing

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data for its processing. If necessary for proper processing, we may also provide your personal data to third parties. You can read more about this later in this privacy statement.

In addition to the information on our website, we may also inform you about our new products and services:

Contact form and newsletter

Through our webshop, we offer the possibility to ask questions via a contact form, for which you will be asked to fill in various details to handle your question. You choose which data you provide. The data you send us will be kept for as long as is necessary for the nature of the form or the content of your email for its complete answer and handling.

We offer a newsletter with which we want to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. Your email address will only be added to the subscriber list with your explicit consent.

Location data

If necessary for the service, we may collect location data (GPS) from you. Your permission will be requested at that moment.

These (location) data can also be stored and processed by the provider of, for example, the navigation/map software, such as Google Maps, but the data can also be used by Google or Apple themselves, for example. We have no influence on this. We recommend that you read the relevant privacy statements of the respective provider.

Publication

We do not publish your customer data.

Advertisements

Our webshop displays advertisements.

Provision to third parties

We may pass on your data to our partners. These partners are involved in the execution of the agreement. We have strict agreements with them to comply with European privacy rules.

Social media buttons are included in our webshop. These allow the administrators of these services to collect your personal data.

Cookies

Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are also placed by third parties engaged by us. When you visit our webshop for the first time, a notice will be displayed explaining why we use cookies. Your continued use of our webshop will be taken as consent for this use of cookies.

You are free to disable cookies through your browser. Please note that our website may not function optimally thereafter.

We have made agreements with third parties who place cookies regarding the use of cookies and applications. However, we do not have complete control over what the providers of these applications themselves do with the cookies when they read them. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our webshop. We have concluded a processor agreement with Google to make agreements about the handling of our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services, and finally, we anonymize the IP addresses.

Security

We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.

Retention periods 

The personal data described above will be stored for as long as necessary to process your orders, including warranty. Thereafter, we will store data for a maximum of one year for the described statistical purposes. The data will then be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer storage (such as the seven-year fiscal retention period for payment data).

Third-party websites

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites connected to our webshop by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before using them.

Changes to this privacy statement

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is advisable to consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.

Accessing and modifying your data

For questions about our privacy policy or questions regarding access and changes to (or deletion of) your personal data, you can contact us at any time using the details below. You can also send us a request to view, modify or delete this data. You can also submit a request for a data export for data that we use with your consent, or provide a motivated reason why you wish us to limit the processing of personal data.

To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to accessing personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find this in your browser settings. If the data is incorrect, you can ask us to change or delete the data.

Dutch Data Protection Authority

Of course, we are happy to help you if you have complaints about the processing of your personal data. Under privacy legislation, you also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority against these processing operations of personal data.
