Using a ceramic drill bit offers many advantages. The material is zirconia ceramic, which is strong and tough, allowing for quick and safe removal of gel polish and BIAB in a very short time. This long ball-shaped ceramic drill bit is suitable for preparing the nail plate and side walls; the tip is useful for hard-to-reach areas. And of course, this shape is also ideal for drilling over the surface of the nail plate and filing the nail into shape. This drill bit is for both left-handed and right-handed use and has a fine grit. Red is a soft grit and is suitable for removing soft products such as gel polish and BIAB. Set your electric nail drill to between 25,000 and 30,000 RPM when using this ceramic drill bit. Shape It Up ceramic drill bits are easy to clean with a brass or nylon brush, and you can soak the bit in Klear Sanifiner, Klear 70% Alcohol, or the special hygienic spray Klear Tools and Surfaces to kill viruses and bacteria.
